Bulk Update Custom Fields in Salesforce

Managing Salesforce fields across large organizations can become challenging as metadata grows over time. Updating field labels, descriptions, help text, security settings, or configurations manually for multiple fields is repetitive, time-consuming, and prone to errors.

BOFC simplifies this process by enabling administrators and developers to bulk update Salesforce fields in just a few clicks.

No repetitive field editing. No manual configuration effort. No unnecessary admin overhead.

What BOFC’s Bulk Field Update Delivers

Update Multiple Salesforce Fields in One Operation

BOFC enables administrators and developers to update multiple custom fields simultaneously instead of modifying each field individually. This dramatically reduces the time required for large-scale metadata updates across Salesforce objects.

Modify Labels, Descriptions, and Help Text

Quickly update field labels, API names, descriptions, inline help text, and related metadata properties in bulk. This helps maintain clean documentation, better usability, and standardized naming conventions.

Update Field-Level Security Configurations

Manage field visibility and edit permissions across profiles and permission sets while updating fields. This ensures proper security governance and consistent user access across the organization.

Standardize Metadata Across Objects

Apply consistent metadata configurations across multiple objects to improve governance, scalability, and long-term Salesforce maintainability.

Reduce Repetitive Administrative Tasks

Eliminate repetitive manual field editing tasks that consume valuable administrative time. BOFC automates bulk metadata updates and improves operational efficiency.

Maintain Consistent Field Governance

Ensure fields follow standardized naming conventions, descriptions, permissions, and configuration policies across the Salesforce org. This helps improve compliance, governance, and metadata organization.

Incredible time saver

We merged a couple of orgs, and this saved us a ton of time cleaning up fields which became surplus. We also leveraged the Bulk update FLS capabilities as a quick way to access and change.

Greet Set of Tools

BOFC really is a tremendous set of tools that can greatly accelerate build times, documentation, etc. It saved the day on a complicated Org Migration and has been a valuable tool on subsequent projects – allowing us to turn a data matrix into new fields with a few clicks, provide thorough object/field documentation in a user friendly format, and other benefits that have helped accelerate our efforts. Highly recommend for the price point the value here makes it a no brainer.

Does what it says on - the tin...

Create bulk object in Salesforce with Bulk Object Field Creator. This is a great time saver and it greatly simplifies the process of managing custom fields. It does exactly what the developers say it will.

I’ve only just started using it but it has been a great help already. As an administrator that also takes up the slack for low level development of our Org. Bulk Object Field Creator is really beneficial. Not having to navigate through endless screens removes confusion (reducing errors) as well as saving time.

I give it a big thumbs up. If I was a consultant this would be gold.
